College Showcase Camp
Rockhurst College showcase Soccer Camp July 6th to July 10th
This camp was designed to challenge the most talented players who wish to continue their soccer careers after high school at the collegiate level. As such this camp is for serious soccer players wishing an intense week of soccer training.
The camp provides the players top quality coaching and an opportunity of showcasing their abilities to college coaches.
Who Should Attend
Only high school aged players should attend the camp.
Camp Format
Players will be placed into groups based on gender and ability level and undergo demanding field sessions for 4 days. The 5th (final) day of the camp will be set aside for multiple scrimmages. Theoretical sessions will also be scheduled to deal with "college scholarships - truths and myths".
Showcase
Collegiate coaches will be attending the camp as both instructors and evaluators. Invitations have been sent to over 4000 coaches ranging from local Junior Colleges, NAIA and the top Division I schools. A list of coaches who have committed to attend the camp will be available on this website.
We anticipate a full house for the scrimmages. Every attending coach will receive a personal profile of each camper.

Each player must bring a ball to the camp

Guest Speakers
Dana Nearmyer has coached 23 high school seasons. He has coached at Blue Valley North, Olathe South, Olathe North and now at St. James Academy. He has coached club soccer for twelve years. He was named to the 1980's All-Decade Team for Ottawa University, where served as Captain. Dana has a passion for developing character and leadership in young people
