Where is Ontario, California?
Ontario, California is just outside of Los Angeles, California and is home to the Los Angeles/Ontario International Airport. The L.A./Ontario International Airport services flights from every major airport in the United States. In addition, Ontario, California is only 37 miles from Los Angeles, 113 miles from San Diego, 220 miles from Fresno, 234 miles from Las Vegas, Nevada; 373 miles from Phoenix, Arizona, 383 miles from San Francisco and 386 miles from Sacramento, California.
How do players get drafted by professional teams or invited into professional team preseason?
Players get opportunities with professional teams when they are seen by and impress professional scouts. The Pro Pace Soccer Combine gives players the opportunity to be seen and impress in front of multiple pro coaches and scouts.
How many professional teams know about the Pro Pace Soccer Combine?
Every pro team in North America has been informed of the event. The feedback has been very
positive. Many pro teams are sending representatives to the Pro Pace Combine. In addition to the pro coaches and scouts on site, an independent scouting service will be on site evaluating all players. The independent scouting service will send their opinions and recommendations on every player to every team in Major League Soccer (MLS), USL-1, USL-2 and Women's Professional Soccer (WPS).
Who will be playing in the Pro Pace Soccer Combine?
A majority of players who will be accepted will be accomplished players from all over North American who are currently finishing their college senior season of eligibility in the fall of 2009. Players who are no longer playing college soccer but are within two years of their last year of college soccer years are encouraged to apply.
Do I have to have college soccer experience to apply for the Pro Pace Soccer Combine?
No. Players who do not have college soccer experience are encouraged to apply if they have impressive youth club, ODP, or armature soccer
accomplishments.
How do I get to participate in the Pro Pace Soccer Combine?
The process begins by completing the online application with the registration fee. When the application is completed it will then be reviewed by the selection committee.
Are all applicants accepted into a Pro Pace Soccer Combine?
No. Players are accepted based on their experience, potential and position. Players who apply for the combine and are not accepted will not be charged any fee. Players who are accepted will be charged the registration fee. Refunds will not be given at any time to a player once that player is accepted.
When is the Pro Pace Soccer Combine registration deadline?
November 29, 2009.
When will I be informed if I am selected to participate in the Pro Pace Soccer Combine?
Players will be accepted on a progressive schedule. All applicants will be informed if they are accepted or not accepted by December 1, 2009.
How can I be confident that I will be given proper exposure to professional teams
during the event?
All players will be placed on teams where they will play three games. Outfield players will play at least two-thirds of every game. Goalkeepers will play at least half of every game and have a special goalkeeper specific workout. Pro coaches and scouts will be

Yes. Professional coaches and scouts will be in attendance. Some pro coaches will be coaching combine teams.
Is the Pro Pace Soccer Combine open to view by the public?
Yes. However, player information (player rosters/player data, etc) will be provided only to event staff or media. Media personnel must contact Burke Slusher in advance at ProPaceCombine@kcpace.com for materials.
What are the field playing conditions at the Pro Pace Soccer Combine?
Games will be played at the brand new Ontario Soccer Complex in Ontario, California. All games will be played on two neighboring artificial turf full-size (115 x 75) soccer
fields. Field conditions will be excellent. Soccer cleats can be worn on the artificial turf.

When should I arrive in Ontario, California?
Player check-in will be from 6pm-9pm on January 4 (Monday) at the X hotel. Games will be played beginning January 5 (Tuesday) through January 6 (Wednesday). Games could start as early as 8am and end as late as 10pm.
